Summer Time and the Living is Easy!

So I really have had some weeks of down time but now I'm back at the books after a week of being an EFY counselor for the Ogden area. This was my first experience ever attending EFY in my whole life. It was very fun to work with the youth. Our company won the Spunity (combo of spirit and unity--the overall best award you can get!) award and we really did have a great group of kids. The amazing thing is that it was all them. We gave them a couple of ideas but they were the ones that really got into having a good time and getting excited about being there. As for me, I loved the working with the kids but I don't think I quite fit in with the majority of the counselors. They all seemed so young--not just in age but in maturity.

This week I'm working on another class for my masters degree: Creativity. It's pretty interesting and I like the content but it sure is a lot to pack into one week. Because of the holiday tomorrow we are going from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm so that we don't have to attend on Saturday, so it's crazy busy and super long days. Next week I have another one-weeker on cognition and brain functionality (I think), should be fun!

Just wanted you all to know that I'm a pisces (that's the two fish). This means that I am patient, empathetic, adaptable, affected by my surroundings, popular, instinctual, not bookish, sensitive, reflexive, idealistic, and capable of incredible deeds. I know you're all thinking that this is me to a "T" and you're right, what can I say? (ha, ha, ha!) Have a great 4th of July!
